The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada announced it will host the 2025 G7 Data Protection and Privacy Authorities Roundtable 18-19 June. The theme for the annual meeting will be “Championing privacy in a digital age: Collective action today for a trusted tomorrow.” The OPC characterized the roundtable as promoting “high standards for privacy and the protection of personal information when data flows across borders and when new technologies emerge.”
