The EU and Singapore announced a digital trade agreement aiming to strengthen the digital economy and foster collaboration on data protection and international data transfers. EU Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security MaroÅ¡ Å efÄ�oviÄ� said the agreement will bolster digital security while bringing “tangible, lasting benefits to both people and businesses in Singapore and across the entire EU.”
