In an op-ed for Infosecurity Magazine, BBB National Programs Vice President for Global Privacy Initiatives and Operations Divya Sridha writes recent actions taken by the White House have added a layer of uncertainty to U.S. firms’ ability to adhere to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Sridhar cited the removal of Democrats at the Federal Trade Commission and the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board as indications of a “soon-to-be domino effect on the trillion-dollar digital economy … underpinned by data privacy commitments.”
