Austria’s Data Protection Authority released its 2024 Data Protection Report, highlighting the authority’s enforcement efforts, including amendments to the Data Protection Act. In 2024, the DPA also established the Parliamentary Data Protection Committee and focused its efforts on implementing the Freedom of Information Act to promote transparency while safeguarding personal data.
