The Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information released its 2024 Data Protection Activity Report highlighting the DPA’s enforcement actions, including 20 administrative fines totaling more than 1.2 million euros. The report shows increases in data protection complaints and fines, while the HmbBfDI continues to promote “moving forward with data protection-friendly AI.”
