Euractiv reports a European General Court hearing on Member of French Parliament Philippe Latombe’s challenge of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework may boil down to whether he has standing to bring such a complaint. Latombe’s challenge is based on allegations the DPF poses a risk to EU fundamental rights and the hearing will determine whether his allegations meet that threshold, which could ultimately lead to the case being heard by the Court of Justice of the European Union.Â
