The European Commission claimed Meta still needs to submit a risk assessment under the Digital Services Act before launching its MetaAI tool in the EU, Euronews reports. A spokesperson said the Commission “will carefully analyse all relevant documents to ensure compliance with the DSA and that the feature does not present any undue risks within the European Union.”
