Poland’s Supreme Administrative Court sided with the data protection authority, UrzÄ…d Ochrony Danych Osobowych, determining financial institutions must inform previous consumers if it intends to process their data. Banks must inform consumers they can process the information of consumers in debt to the bank, though they must inform and allow them to pay their debt within 30 days to avoid data processing.
