The Center for Democracy and Technology announced it is partnering with several nonprofits and companies on the launch of the Robust Online Safety Tooling initiative with the aim to create open-source online safety tools for organizations. ROOST aims to provide companies with safe and accessible tools to reduce harmful content online, improve organizational transparency and “ensure critical safety tools are available for all.”
