Poland’s data protection authority, the UrzÄ…d Ochrony Danych Osobowych, found rental car company Panek allegedly did not put appropriate data processing security measures in place when it reconstructed its company website. The agency fined Panek PLN1.5 million after determining the data administrator did not take steps to ensure changes to the IT system were in line with commonly used practices.
