The U.K. Office of Communications published the first edition codes of practice and guidance for addressing illegal harms potentially caused by the use of technology companies’ various products under the Online Safety Act. The code contains more than 40 safety measures companies must adopt, while also conducting risk assessments prior to 16 March 2025. The OfCom is also expected to release additional code measures early next year.
