Howden Insurance claimed U.K. businesses have lost approximately 44 billion GBP due to cyberattacks over the past five years, Reuters reports. Howden Head of U.K. Cyber Retail Sarah Neild said “cybercrime is on the rise, with malicious actors continuing to take advantage of cybersecurity vulnerabilities, particularly as firms become ever more reliant on technology for their operations.”
