Norway’s data protection authority, Datatilsynet, detailed the social platform X’s renewed efforts to collect user data for AI model training. The regulator notes users can request to opt-out of their data being used to train the model but expected Ireland’s Data Protection Authority would ultimately make a decision on the practice after the European Data Protection Board weighs in.
