Meta will begin using an AI-backed software to determine if Instagram users are lying about their age as pressure builds on the social media industry to protect children from predatory behavior, Bloomberg reports. The technology will look through a user’s profile for clues a user may be younger than reported, and is expected to be rolled out next year.
