U.K. Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology Peter Kyle told the Office of Communications the agency must put the Online Safety Act into practice as soon as possible to ensure online companies are providing safe products for consumers. He noted several impending milestones under the law and said his department would provide Ofcom with whatever support it needs to complete its tasks under the law.
