Telegram CEO Pavel Durov announced individuals who use the platform for illegal and harmful activity will have their information, including IP addresses and phone numbers, shared with law enforcement agencies, the Guardian reports. Durov said the platform used AI to limit search options to ensure bad actors don’t “jeopardise the integrity of our platform for almost a billion users.”
