Ransomware groups were responsible for more than 2,570 cyberattacks during the first half of 2024, Cybersecurity Dive reports. A study by software company Rapid7 also found a 23% increase in posts on data leak websites with 68 ransomware groups leaking stolen information through 2,611 posts.
