Spain’s National Court Prosecutor’s Office is investigating whether Meta’s use of users’ personal information to train artificial intelligence violates data protection laws, the Diario de Sevilla reports. The social media company said it would halt the practice for Facebook and Instagram users in Europe in mid-June in response to EU regulators’ scrutiny.
