The European Data Protection Board published results of artificial intelligence auditing and data protection officer training projects under the board’s Support Pool of Experts Programme. The AI auditing initiative undertaken by Spain’s data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aimed to map, develop and test tools to assess AI systems’ EU General Data Protection Regulation compliance. The DPO training project carried out by Croatia’s Personal Data Protection Agency covered general DPO competencies as well as targeted responsibilities in the health and education sectors.
